I don’t know whether it’s true, but when we visited London a few years ago, the locals were telling us that it was the coldest day in 100 years! I can tell you for sure that it was really, really cold, but still amazingly beautiful and rich with culture and history. I wish we had had more time to spend in the country, but I did take pictures to last a lifetime.
This original watercolor painting is from a picture I took of the Houses of Parliament at the Palace of Westminster, on Westminster Bridge over the Thames. The Perpendicular Gothic style palace seemed to continue forever as the building faded into the freezing mist.
Painted on 140 lb cold press paper, 9″ x 12″
Double mat is 11″ x 17″ matted to 8″ x 10″, will fit in the standard 11″ x 17″ frame of your choosing, or you may purchase the painting in the frame pictured in this listing.
